ABOUT THE MISSION

Our mission is to create a biospiritual sanctuary where Black women can reclaim their sacred power, restore wholeness, and nurture the body, spirit, and soul as one. We do this because too often, Black women's depth, wisdom, and sacred needs are overlooked or undervalued. Through rituals, guided reflection, and holistic practices, we honor the divine intelligence within every woman, cultivating a living ecosystem of renewal, rootedness, and embodied wisdom. The Velvet Rise exists to help women step fully into their sacred self, rise with clarity, and flourish in alignment with their deepest truth -- because every Black woman deserves a space to be seen, restored, and fully whole.
